Eligibility
Age
He/She shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, 2013, of the year admission to the MBBS course in, 2014.
Education
1. The higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study
2. The last two years of study(XI and XII or equivalent) comprising of physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics
3. OR any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than core course of English as prescribed by the NCERT after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on education.
Required NEET Score

1. In NEET exam, all candidates must pass in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually.
and
2. General Candidates SHOULD OBTAIN a minimum of 50% in NEET together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology.
3. SC/ST/OBC Candidates SHOULD OBTAIN a minimum of 40% in NEET together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology.

4. Physically Challenged Candidates SHOULD OBTAIN a minimum of 45% in NEET together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology.
5. Students appearing XII standard (or equivalent) are provisionally admitted to NEET. Their admission to medical course is subject to the condition of obtaining the eligibility in NEET as mentioned above.
Reservation
Reservations to SC/ST/OBC categories as per Govt.of India and respective state norms.
Basis for Seat Allotment
1. For the state medical colleges, 85% seats will be filled from among the state merit list and the counseling for these students will be at State Capitals.
2. Remaining 15% seats will be filled from among the all-India merit list and the centralised counseling for these students will be at New Delhi.
3. For Union government medical colleges, all 100% seats will be filled by all-India merit list and the centralised counseling for these students will be at New Delhi.
Exam Procedure
1. Multiple choice objective type questions.
2. NEET Exam will be conducted at all the District Head Quarters of each state.
3. Medium of Examination: English & Hindi.
